Digit Insurance, more popularly known as Go Digit, is an online general insurance provider that provides a variety of insurance packages that cover your vehicle, health, travel, house, and mobile. We worked with the company to urge people to buy health insurance and made Instagram Reels for the same. 

Digit has a character of its own; an adorable spud called Ouch Potato, which is a potato that finds itself with different people over the span of 5 reels, The deadlines were tight, but having the character design (Ouch Potato) ready from the get-go made the process go much faster.

We decided to go with motion comics – a form of animation that combines elements of comics and animation. Individual panels are expanded into a full shot while sound effects, voice acting, and animation are added to the original artwork. While motion comics are simple, they work perfectly when the client is looking for a cost-effective solution on a short timeline. 

The scripting, animation, and character design were done by us in close collaboration with the team. The colour palette for the reels is very minimalist, almost white with a few coloured shadings and black figure outlines. We have tried to build a narrative in about 40 seconds in which a problem is posed, and then Digit Health Insurance has been shown to have the capability to solve that problem.
